Everyone knows the key to a healthy body is exercise. But now researchers have found that consistent exercise will keep your mind in top condition, too, making your visits to Fitness USA all the more vital to complete fitness - both physical and mental.
Keep your body fit and your mind will stay fit, too.
The most aerobically fit and active adults perform better at mental aptitude tests, are less distractible and focus more easily. Exercise keeps the brain nourished with oxygen and stimulates electrical signals along nerves from the brain to tendons and muscles. Exercise also fires up parts of the brain that control balance and movement. If you're out of shape, your entire system is effected: oxygen and nourishment to the brain is slowed, arteries clog, the heart becomes sluggish and blood flow becomes laggard.
As a Fitness USA member, you're doing the best for your body and your mind when you continue to exercise consistently at our facilities.
And to our newest members, especially those who have been sedentary for many years, remember - it's never too late to start back on the road to fitness.
Even though it's easier to stay in shape than to regain fitness, a healthy body and a sharp mind will once again be yours, thanks to your commitment to yourself and to Fitness USA.
